Six standing and select committees (full list) of the Pierce County Council meet Monday through Wednesday and as needed. They are created by resolution no later than the second Tuesday in January and are governed by their own rules of procedure.
Council committee meetings are: -Broadcast live on Pierce County TV (channel 22); -Replayed on the channel (check broadcast schedule); -Streamed live on the Pierce County TV Web site; and -Archived online (since 2009).
